We make excellent base layers that are designed and knitted in Sweden. They come in three qualities that provide different levels of warmth. We only use the finest merino wool, which gives our garments fantastic functionality and minimal impact on the planet. Trumpet is sold through our own site, allowing us to knit the garments in Sweden and offer them at a significantly lower price than what they would cost at a retailer. We focus on creating lovable base layers that you’ll want to wear all year round. They work just as well for adventures as for swinging kids on swings or taking a nap on the sofa. Trumpet was launched in 2020 and is run in Stockholm by two country folks. That’s the brief version about Trumpet Woolwear. Don’t hesitate to email us.
HUR DET BÖRJADE
After a deep dive into our base layer drawers, we realized that most consisted of synthetic materials or, at best, blended wool—designed without passion or love for the product. It was at that moment we understood that “if we don’t start making base layers in 100% wool that are a pleasure to wear and own, no one else will either.

DAVID SÖDERBERG
With roots in Kiruna, statistically far from everything, David grew up snowboarding in Luossavaara and Kiruna. He spent many of his years with Volcom. What David likes most about Trumpet is that the clothes don’t itch, even though he is so sensitive to wool that he has never been able to wear it.
NIKLAS BERGH
Once a promising snowboarder with unfulfilled potential. Co-founded the headphone company Zound Industries (now Marshall) back in the day. Collapsing arches, receding hairline, and progressive glasses, but fun to look at.
NANNA BERGH
The story of Trumpet begins with Nanna. She wasted her youth in Åre and Verbier, infamous for blindly trusting her luck. She is the spiritual leader of Trumpet and is married to Niklas, which should make us a kind of family business.
