We’re ridiculously proud of this balaclava. It’s meticulously crafted to be perfect in both rolled-down and rolled-up positions. But somewhere along the way, we also got a bit lucky because it ended up hitting the sweet spot. Made in our Glint 170g quality, consisting of 100% merino wool with extra fine fibers that don’t itch. Since wool also retains warmth when damp, it’s ideal for this kind of gear. This masterpiece is primarily designed to create a perfect layer between you and your helmet, but it’s not up to us to decide how it’s used. That’s your job.

This sign refers to the fineness of the fabric's fibers. Micron. 19μm is ridiculously fine and makes the wool non-itchy.

170 g

The weight of the fabric per square meter. 170g is slightly thicker than typical base layer fabric.

This material works well both indoors and outdoors, suitable for warmer days and intense activities. It provides good warmth as a base layer on cold days, yet breathes very well, making it suitable for summer too. During development, it was tested in important meetings as well as on alpine peaks, in both summer and winter.
